EMF is short for Electromagnetic Field. In our new world of technology it is impossible to avoid contact with EMFs but it is possible to use awareness and strategies to reduce the influence they have on our enjoyment of life. A simple way of describing strong EMF is that it creates turbulence or Chaos. No matter how playful or joyful the EMF intention is, the resulting "feeling" can be like sharing your swimming pool with 30 teenagers compared to swimming or floating peacefully along in the water.

What: This EMF Clinic will focus on small or portable electronic devices like: Cell phone, IPod, Docking stations or recharging devices, Clock Radio, Blackberry, Laptop Computer, Boom Boxes, Disc players, AC plug in cubes, ... Why: To put your mind at ease or discover the effect these devices may be having on your current health or tranquility. Disturbances at home, work or even in your car might be related to the use or location of one or many of these devices. Some people find they are disturbed while awake or in sleep. Others have unusual headaches, dizziness, stiff necks, uncomfortable hips, back aches, chest tightness or even hair loss. Those phenomena just described and others like: feeling unusual, stressed, short tempered, overwhelmed or lethargic can come from the use or positioning of offensive devices. Who: Anyone carrying a Cell phone, sleeping near to a Clock radio or cordless phone dock/charger or is generally interested in determining the peaceful or offensive nature of their devices will benefit from coming to the clinic. When: Our next clinic is listed above. How: To be prepared for the testing we suggest that you pick up or request a fax copy of our device identification sheet. The sheet contains 3 examples of items you might like to bring to the EMF Clinic and space to enter the information detailing the devices you would like to have tested. Only people that have reserved a time slot and have documented their devices will be included in the EMF Clinic testing. Ensure that portable items have fresh or well charged batteries. Where: We are facilitating the EMF Clinic at our Wellness Centre. Plan to arrive 10 minutes before your assigned appointment so everyone participating has time for the testing. Timing: Most people will be finished and leave our Wellness Centre within 10 - 15 minutes of their appointment time. REMEMBER to bring the device identification sheet completely filled in.
Each person involved in the EMF Clinic will automatically be entered into our for a Basic Home EMF Study.
