This massage like therapy is safe, gentle and powerfully effective.

It is regularly done through the clothing.

Learn how to heal: Carpal Tunnel, Sciatica, Circulation problems, Sprains/Whiplash, Headaches, Fibromyalgia, Babies with colic, ... and MUCH MORE.

The techniques included in this course inspire your use of "lokahi". The seed of success is in our attitude and state of mind. Lokahi (centering oneself) is a way of focusing, of gathering energy into one point, one thought & for the one purpose of healing.

The most important part of working with people is that they come with an "open mind" and willingness to participate in their process of healing.

This course is 6 full days of instruction and "hands on" experience, as well as required practice between classes. Class size is a maximum of 6 students.

Each student will have a thorough training including demonstrations and instructor assisted practice with class mates and real clients during the course. You will learn therapeutic techniques and procedures that constitute the complete protocol including visceral alignments.

By the end of the course you can be "doing the work". Throughout the course you will learn simple herbal remedies for various conditions.

Based on practice completion and demonstration of learned skills, you will receive a Certificate of Achievement at the end of the course. Then if you choose to refine and further develop your skills you begin an internship of a minimum of 2 years.

During your time of internship ongoing support is provide in two ways: 1) as it relates to your application of Lomilomi with volunteers and clients, 2) in the form of "Lomilomi Review and Exchange" sessions held 3-4 times per year. All students may attend whether involved with internship or seeking to renew their skills and participate in our therapeutic community for a basic fee of $20.00 each.

Those seeking professional status after their internship can apply to be tested for certification. In addition to the practical test to show evidence of their skills, each applicant must have attended the Lomilomi Review and Exchange sessions and provide client case study illustrations.

This therapy is an excellent beginning or addition to a professional practice and an asset to assist friends and family members if you feel the calling.
