| The Path I Am Traveling
Helena Canfield Original situation: Low Kidney function, allergies to all dairy products and wheat with the exception of ancient grain and spelt, reoccurring chronic problem with foot and body misalignment, extraordinary weight loss (too thin). First step of awareness: I followed a strong feeling that came from deep inside me to go to Hawaii to study a modality known to "make the body right" called Lomilomi. Result: I resolved the foot problem of nearly 14 years and found another purpose within my life, to assist people recover from discomfort. Next step: I was drawn to learn and participate regularly in an ancient form of exercises called Qi Gong for self healing. Result: Within about a year of practicing Qi Gong three times a week my allergies were gone and even the occasional pizza was not a problem. I no longer have physical Kidney related difficulties and was able to regain my normal weight. Conclusion: My life has shifted to a brighter place within me that Qi Gong and Wholistic therapy has helped to uncover. Work is no longer a task; it is an expression of the joy that connects us all. I focus my days on inspiring and facilitating changes of well-being with others as a Wholistic Therapist. Original situation: Fibromyalgia, chronic spine and shoulder problems, lack of energy, depression, sleep disturbances, chronic acid reflux, an addiction to prescription drugs, persistent headaches and difficulty moving forward in life. First step of awareness: After gentle encouragement from my sister I followed my instincts to add a daily practice to my life to balance and revitalize me called Qi Gong. I pursued a number of wholistic therapies including CST, Lomilomi, Energy Massage and lymphatic drainage with Robert Clark and Helena Canfield. Result: Fibromyalgia symptoms were reduced and became less frequent, sleep patterns returned to near normal, depression almost disappeared and prescription addictions were no longer a challenge. I drew new breath into the path of my life that now includes more activities because I can. Next step: I was drawn to learn more advanced Qi Gong exercises with Robert Clark. I found that occasionally, alternating wholistic therapy sessions with Robert and Helena helped to further my inner balance inspired by their different approaches and energies I would describe as Yin and Yang. Result: I have moved past Fibromyalgia and now enjoy Latin dancing, walking and hiking, Tai Chi and Yoga. I sleep well and have the energy to do everything I want to. I have found a wonderful life mate and have resolved a great many of the burdens that were obstacles to moving forward in life with grace and ease. Life challenges now are normally short lived and life is very good. Conclusion: I have proven to myself that regular practice of Qi Gong has changed my life. My business is better than ever and I have the energy to fulfill my commitments in ways that would not have been possible a few years ago. I did my part in the process and through that persistence see far fewer limits in my daily life. I believe that the Wholistic therapies I have experienced have accelerated my recovery and provided a wonderfully balanced result. I feel blessed to continue to study
and practice Qi Gong. I am at a point of fine tuning myself and only
pursue occasional therapy now. I have truly embraced my journey to
harmony. Evon Original situation: Breast cancer, extreme menopause symptoms, divorce, daily stresses, problems with focusing, general difficulty moving forward in life. First step of awareness: I heard about a man (I now refer to as my angel) from a business associate. Robert and I worked together using wholistic therapies which included Energy Massage, CST and BodyTalk to uncover and release the reasons I developed the cancer. All those years of looking after everyone else's needs that had hardened in my body and the associated worries quickly dissipated. Result: I recognized my need for something more than physical exercise to help reduce stress and build me up again. I continued my research and proceeded by registering in the "Build and Balance" Qi Gong course to help center and revitalize me. My confidence and strength returned and I looked once again at the remaining partials of the tumor. I believe I could have completely eliminated the last bits but my family was concerned that I had postponed surgery and canceling it would have been too much for them. Next step: I looked within myself and resolved to have the surgery to complete the removal of the cells and cleanse both myself and my family of all the external factors. This decision was for the highest good (which included my families beliefs). Result: Due to the wholistic therapy and Qi Gong exercises I was doing which facilitated the release of the emotional and energetic blockages; I went through the surgery and recovered in record time without loosing any lymph nodes. Of those in my hospital group, I was the only one that did not require additional medication or radiation. Conclusion: I know there is still much more to enjoy in my life and the practice of Qi Gong has made it sweeter. I am focusing on more advanced studies of Qi Gong with Robert now and keeping my finger on the pulse of balance and happiness as best I can. Meditation and occasional therapy now work together with exercise and good eating to insure that I can experience even more fulfillment in my busy life. Jane Original situation: Lack of balance and energy, stresses from all parts of my life, challenges that seemed larger than life. First step of awareness: I learned Yoga and became an instructor. The flexibility and philosophy it portrayed nurtured my original awakening to pursue a more spiritual life style. I realized Yoga did not complete my training and I became intrigued with the complementary aspects of Qi Gong. My instincts drew me to experience Qi Gong training but in the beginning I found it difficult to find the discipline to practice on a regular basis. Result: I noticed some reduction in stress from doing the Qi Gong (once a week) but I could not seem to find more time to practice to get things going the way I wanted. I proceeded by focusing more on Wholistic therapies and found them to be the catalyst to greater balance and harmony I needed. Some of the techniques I experience with Robert Clark were Energy Massage, CST, Body Talk and Lomilomi. Next step: I felt a need to pursue further Qi Gong training and review material I had already studied. It was easy to do in Robert's program as you can repeat courses free of charge when you move forward onto more advanced courses. The opportunity to repeat classes and move forward helped me recognize practice and revisiting earlier material was the way it would work for me. Result: I get it now ! I understand why my inner wisdom motivated me to continue the Qi Gong training and Wholistic therapy. Conclusion: I feel the combination of training and therapy has brought clarity and greater peace and abundance into my life. The generosity and compassion that I have experienced with Robert in his practice has been a blessing to me and my friends.
