TERMS
Electronic Feng
Shui - is a term I coined in 2008 to distinguish a
new arm of the ancient harmonizing methodology Feng Shui, specifically
focused on our new world of experience created by the growing use
of electric appliances, devices and the different ways the electricity
is delivered.
As with traditional Feng Shui we look1
at the strength or offensive nature of items or their relative placement
in a space but now focus on the electric equipment and delivery system.
We may rearrange or apply remides2
as necessary for devices or the space they influence. We will recommend
removing of those items not designated as essential if the resources
required to compensate for the chaos they promote is not warranted.
Look1
- both energetic experience and metered readings3
are used.
Remides2 - rather than
mirrors or crystal we use filters4,
shielding5 and surge
protection.
Readings3 - are not
yet globally accepted with regard to absolute consequence but many
ranges of consideration have been justified so we use them to determine
areas of excess.
Filters4 - are used
to reduce the micro surges in the wiring of the home or office to
reduce device proliferating radiation6.
Shielding5 - of extension
cords themselves or introducing a barrier in an area of high intensity
can be entertained to reduce exposure where feasible.
Device proliferating radiation6
- is the broadcasting of chaos through normally passive or inert devices
produced by wiring it's self or the devices sharing a circuit.
EMR - (Electromagnetic
Radiation) is the term we use
to generally describe the nature of our study.
Specifically we look at magnetic field
strengths extending into your living space, micro
surges that exist within the walls among the electric wire
circuits connected to your breaker box, wireless
communication radiation within or penetrating your space, electrical
bleed or discharge into your living space.
Electrical Bleed
- in our context
is where it spills out of the device or switch and effects its surroundings
with a charge that is unused and can be felt interacting with our
cells.
In devices it occurs because of the quality of components and attention
to proper attachment and coupling. Inexpensive hair straiteners, hair
dryers, exhaust fan etc. are known to emit this type of radiation.
Improperly wired switches in wall or places where different metal
come together (like aluminum and copper) and are not blended with
special compounds to insure good connections can do the same.
Liquid
space
- is known to be a highly sought after, state of being (often visited
during deep meditation) that contains access to most all elements
of experience and understanding. It can be described as simultaneous
exhilaration and absolute peace with unlimited access to universal
knowledge.
Magnetic
Field - in our context creates a tangible sensation (chaos)
that can be felt when we are within the field horizon of magnetism.
The field is created by electrons moving through an appliance, device
or power line. The strength and exposure time required for the sensation
to be annoying or stressful varies with each person but as little
as 3 Mg has become a standard in many countries
to avoid. Over prolonged exposure people that are very sensitive feel
effects at even lower levels.
Micro surges
- as the name describes are small but potentially very frequent variations
of tension in electric wiring.
They have three sources:
1) directed in from the city source power lines,
2) from one item using the circuit to operate that creates surges
through being plugged in to the socket (like a TV) or
3) through the way the appliance(s), device(s) or light(s) interact
with each other.
Some would describe the phenomenon as noise like the pops or crackling
sounds heard from a stereo speaker when a blender or vacuum is operated.
This effect is not limited to speakers but can be related (and magnified)
out into our living space by every light, appliance and device that
is plugged into the circuit.
Wireless
Communication Radiation
or electronic smog - is the carrier used to transmit pictures and
text through the air, walls and cells of our bodies to enable TV,
phones and computers to function.
Our study is focused on devices that transmit within your space like
wireless modems, routers, phone stations and units installed by cable
and phone companies to monopolize communications into their package.
